I've been a member of the Little German Band and Dancers (LGB&D) since 1984.  We travel all over North Carolina, and surrounding states to put on performances lasting from one hour to 16 hours over the course of a weekend.

The Little German Band and Dancers is an "all volunteer" group.  That means no member gets paid to perform.  We buy all of our own equipment and costumes.  The Band charges customers enough to cover the cost of the performance such as travel costs, hotel, and food and beverage expenses.  Typically, the Band attempts to make a small profit on any given performance to help cover the costs of non-performance expenses that the Band incurs.
